We are a small family-owned company with a big reputation, undertaking projects ranging from low-cost domestic installations to complex commercial ones.
Now well into our fifth decade of trading successfully, to the satisfaction of our many and varied Clients, we pride ourselves in working closely and openly to offer the best value flooring solutions for individual needs and budgets.

Authorities
We cater for the wide-ranging needs of Authorities, including Local Governments, Emergency Services, the Prison Service and the Military Sector.
Corporate
Camox has completed countless thousands of square metres of flooring to new and existing office environments both for Construction Companies and direct to Businesses.
Data Centres
Camox has been involved in the complex and precise flooring requirements in data centres, where we have strived to create efficient environments that need very little maintenance and require to be changed far less frequently.
Education
We work closely with Schools, Colleges and Universities to offer the very best options for floor coverings to meet their ever-tightening budgets.
Healthcare
In environments where price, performance and ease of maintenance are paramount, we have worked closely with Care Homes, Hospitals and Health Centres to create floors offering a balance of efficiency, visuality and comfort.
Retail
We have carried out a great deal of work in this sector, importing American Oak and floor seal for such clients as Liberty, Gap and Habitat.
Residential
We have completed major housing projects and are frequently the contractor of choice when it comes to the personal service required in the homes of the general public. We specialise, and are approved installers for Karndean and Amtico Flooring.
Sports
There are a variety of surfaces for the many different indoor sports and we have endeavoured to give our Clients those that perform the best for their needs.

Our flooring
Floor Preparation
Camox is diligent in checking the suitability of the surfaces to receive new floor coverings, including the type of material and moisture content. We are skilled at bringing surfaces to the required standard prior to the installation of the new coverings and giving our Clients the assurance that these finishes are being installed to last.
Vinyl/LVT
We have been installing Vinyl sheet and tiles, and LVT’s, for almost 45yrs in areas ranging from hospital theatres, gymnasiums and prison wings to soft-play areas, airport shops and domestic kitchens! Our work is carried out in accordance with the respective manufacturer’s recommendations and British Standard BS8201.
Safety Flooring
We supply and lay all manner of vinyl safety flooring to suit the hazards that may be encountered under foot. We are mindful to use only the recommended adhesives, particularly in wet or demanding locations.
Linoleum
Whilst lino sounds “old-fashioned”, and seems to go in and out of vogue, we have completed installations to all manner of locations, both domestic and contract, including pattern and borderwork. It is a timeless product that we have worked with for over four decades.
Rubber tile/sheet
Rubber can be temperamental and requires near perfect conditions for a successful installation, free from bubbles and imperfections. Camox has the skill and diligence to ensure all is done “by the book”, to the satisfaction of our Clients.
Carpet Tiles
Camox has installed so many m2 of carpet tiles that we couldn’t begin to guess the total amount to date! Many installations have been challenging, sometimes involving the movement and replacement of furniture to enable offices and workplaces to operate without disruption.
Broadloom Carpet
Although we don’t compete with High Street Carpet Shops, or Warehouse outlets, we are very competitive with the higher-end carpets both commercially and domestically. We have also completed several large housing contracts where carpet has been included in the house price by the Builder. Some of the larger bespoke projects we have completed are the Aylesbury Civic Centre in a Brinton’s carpet, The Portland Hospital for Women & Children in an Axminster and The Colony Club, London, in a Wilton.
Timber/Laminate
Camox has been associated with timber for many years, at one time importing and installing American Oak and Ultradec Seal for clients such as Liberty, Gap & Habitat. More recently we have limited our installations to smaller and domestic projects.

Health & Safety
Camox comply with CSCS recommendations to ensure that our operatives are adequately protected and always work in a safe and considerate manner. Our operatives receive also regular toolbox talks and are kept abreast of current regulations, COSHH Data and good working practice.
Environment
Camox work conscientiously with Clients and Manufacturers to ensure our services have a minimal impact on the environment and, wherever possible, will use responsibly sourced and manufactured materials. Our consideration for waste is equally mindful.
